Periodieke herkeur
Een extra aanvulling op de Richtlijn Drukapparatuur
De Periodieke Herkeur is niet Europees, maar per lidstaat geregeld. De verantwoording hiervoor ligt, net als de KVI niet bij de fabrikant maar bij de gebruiker. In Nederland geldt een periodieke herkeuringsplicht eens per vier jaar. Deze dient door een keuringsinstantie te worden uitgevoerd wanneer de ontwerpdruk maal het volume op meer dan 1000 uitkomt (Ps x V= > 1000). Wanneer die uitkomst minder is, kan de gebruiker de installatie zelf keuren. In de meeste gevallen wordt hiervoor de fabrikant ingeschakeld.
- De Periodieke Herkeur vervangt de Richtlijn Drukapparatuur dus niet maar is er een aanvulling op!

Our Spanish distributor MPA uploaded a nice video to their YouTube channel. It shows the restoration of a 1965 Renault Caravelle. It was their customer's first blasting job ever. They used a 5 m3/min compressor together with one of our after coolers and ECO series blastpots. It took them 6 hours to finish the job with only 300 kg of fine abrasive!

The new Gritco BC series nozzles have a very wear resistant boron carbide lining so they can be used for all abrasives including aluminium oxide. The nozzles have a long venturi shape with a wide entry. This increases abrasive velocity and creates a wide and even blast pattern. The aluminium jacket has a coarse thread/50 mm to fit standard nozzle holders. The jackets have an extra rubber
